OrbitSpore is a mod that makes huge changes to the Spore interface, even more so than Platinum Spore. Originally there were 10 new custom parts coming but they were scrapped due to bugs. BetterSpore is a usermade Expansion modification by BallLightning. Platinum Spore was a mod developed by the modder vexx It had a wide range of features and included many new space stage weapons and technology. Unfortunately, the tool has been rendered obsolete, and is no longer supported by the modding community, being replaced instead by the magnitudes-more-advanced.
